My other favourite pic of the trip, looking down at Peyto Lake from Bow Summit.
A few views from Canmore before I entered Banff National Park.
I actually had to enter the town of Banff itself as part of work but I didn't really look around much or take any pictures. Banff is basically just a big outlet mall surrounded by awesome scenery and the occasional elk.
I had originally decided to hit up Lake Louise, seeing as how it's the most photographed lake in the world or something, but all the people milling around Banff put me off and led me to assume there would be plenty of tourists at Lake Louise. So, since I had limited time and to avoid most of the other folks, I headed straight up the Icefields Parkway instead.
So here's more views of Peyto Lake and Peyto Glacier from Bow Summit. This, sadly, was as far north as I would make it on the Icefields Parkway.
Panorama overlooking Bow Lake. Crowfoot Glacier is to the left.
Overlooking Bow Lake, towards Bow Glacier.
That little sliver below the glacier is Bow Glacier Falls. That's next...
